Students in 6th grade language arts classes composed biographies of special adults in their lives, and today, their subjects were invited to a tea to read the finished products.
Pleasant Middle School enjoyed activites planned by the student council to end the 2011 year. The staff and students wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and a Joyous New Year.
Through
the weeks in late November and early December, the student council led
an effort in the middle school to collect hygiene products for local
needy families. Student council members counted and boxed the items as
part of a homeroom competition in each grade level. Congrats to
homerooms led by Mrs. Swaney, Mr. Nelson, and Mr. Clem for their winning
collection efforts. These homerooms earned the right to play the
against the teachers in volleyball on December 16th! Thanks to the PTO,
they also have each earned pizza parties. Great job to all who
